Man stabbed in parking lot of Swift Creek Baptist Church, Chesterfield County

On Saturday night, 10 October 2026, Chesterfield County police were called at about 9 p.m. to the parking lot of Swift Creek Baptist Church on Branders Bridge Road, where they found a man with stab wounds. Police said the victim and suspect knew each other and had been arguing across the street from the church before it escalated. The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries but was stable. The suspect was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding.
