Food pantry and daycare stripped at State Avenue United Methodist

Volunteers arriving Thursday found a forced break-in at 690 State Avenue, the first in the church's 120-year history per Pastor Annie Burton. Food-pantry shelves were emptied and diapers stolen. In the unused daycare, baseboard heaters were pulled off the wall, pipes were believed taken, and bathroom fixtures were removed. Reported to Cincinnati police.
