Mass shooting during Mass in Dablo

Armed men interrupted Sunday Mass in Sanmatenga Province, executed Father Siméon Yampa and five parishioners, and burned the church and nearby shops.

The killing was part of a wider jihadist campaign across Burkina Faso’s north that has emptied parishes and displaced priests.
