Break-in and vandalism at Old Catholic Church of St. Mary, Donje Dubrave

Overnight into Thursday, 8 October 2026, unknown persons broke into the Old Catholic Church of St. Mary in Donje Dubrave near Živinice, through the side of the building, overturned and scattered items inside, and stripped the sheet-metal roof gutter. Tuzla Canton police received the report at about 9:35 a.m. on 8 October and opened an investigation under the cantonal prosecutor. Gutters and a ladder were found discarded outside. The 1920s church is the only Old Catholic parish and church in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
