"Morram cristãos" sprayed on wall of Assembleia de Deus church in Dourados

On the morning of Monday, 12 October 2026, the pastor of an Assembleia de Deus church at the corner of Rua das Nogueiras and Rua Elziro Vicente in Parque dos Bem-te-vis, Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul, found the church's wall sprayed with hate messages, including "morram cristãos" ("die, Christians") and a drawing of a symbol associated with terrorism. The case was reported to the Depac police station and is under investigation. On 13 October the Mato Grosso do Sul Council of Pastors (Consepams) condemned it as a cowardly attack on the whole Christian community and on freedom of belief.
