Fairfield police responded on Wednesday and Thursday to separate disturbances at two churches in Fairfield for a man drinking holy water and talking loudly to himself, causing a disturbance, according to Sgt. Jenna Wellington. News 12 reported the man disrupted service at churches including Saint Thomas Aquinas. Police later identified 66-year-old Joseph Forte of Bridgeport, who was arrested Friday after becoming combative when warned to stay away.
