Shelling of Ghazanchetsots Cathedral

Two successive strikes hit the 19th-century Armenian cathedral in Shushi during the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, collapsing part of the dome. Journalists sheltering inside were wounded.

Human Rights Watch said the second strike made an accident unlikely. Azerbaijan denied targeting the church. The building later underwent contested reconstruction.
