Two masked gunmen entered Sunday Mass at a Catholic church in Istanbul’s Sarıyer district and killed one worshipper. Islamic State later claimed the attack.
It was the first fatal ISIS-claimed church shooting in Turkey in years and raised security at the country’s remaining Christian sanctuaries.
