Man charged with disrupting religious service at Main Street church

On August 8, at approximately 5:20 p.m., an officer was working a special event located at a Main Street Church in Johnson City when Adrian Atutis, 36, began acting disruptively. Police say he damaged several thousand dollars worth of religious materials that were being sold by a vendor. He was charged with disruption of a religious service, criminal mischief, assault, obstruction and resisting arrest.
