The Diocese of Tours said the Blessed Sacrament chapel door and the tabernacle at Église Saint-Joseph in the Rabière neighborhood were forced on Thursday, August 20, and the consecrated hosts were scattered on the ground. Nothing was stolen. Local reporting called it the fifth church in Indre-et-Loire profaned in a month.
