Around 4 a.m. on 17 October 2026, Russian aircraft dropped guided bombs on Kherson's Korabelnyi district and damaged the building of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which also housed the private DieSlovo lyceum, the All-Ukrainian Sobor news site reported. The local Adventist congregation still worships in the building.
