Shooting at Geneva Presbyterian

A gunman chained exits and opened fire on a Taiwanese congregation during lunch after worship. One man was killed and five people wounded. Congregants subdued the attacker.

Federal prosecutors charged the shooting as a hate crime motivated by political grievance against Taiwan. It is one of the few U.S. church attacks with an explicit transnational motive.
