In the early hours of Monday, September 7, 2026, gunmen (residents alleged Boko Haram) attacked Nzangula village, Guyaku Ward, Gombi LGA, Adamawa State. Gombi LGA Chairman Markus Ishaya confirmed 12 villagers killed, 2 injured (treated at Cottage Hospital Gombi), and one woman abducted.
