Juveniles charged after damaging LDS meetinghouse

Lieutenant Akilah Lacey with the Pocatello Police Department said someone witnessed kids around a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints building on Bartz Drive on Friday, August 14. Officers found an open door and kids inside; the juveniles were believed to have been going in and out and caused some damage inside the church. Three juveniles, ages 8 to 9, were charged with vandalism and helped clean up the mess.
