Break-in, theft and damage at Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Fátima, Porteña

At about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, intruders broke a window pane and entered the Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Fátima in Porteña, Córdoba province. They stole various items and broke others, causing significant damage inside the church. The church coordinator reported it to local police that afternoon; Police Scientific staff examined the scene under the direction of San Justo departmental director Comisario Mayor Pablo Álvarez. According to unofficial information, those responsible had already been detained and the case was practically solved.
