Juvenile charged in arson and burglaries at Christ the King Parish, Pueblo

Pueblo police announced on 13 October 2026 the arrest of a juvenile in connection with arson and burglary incidents at Christ the King Parish in Pueblo, Colorado. Detectives began investigating on 5 September 2026, when a fire on the church property was determined to have been intentionally set, and later learned the property's security cameras had been tampered with on 19 July and that burglaries occurred on 11 September and 3 October. Police said surveillance footage and interviews linked the juvenile, who was booked into the Pueblo Youth Center on those charges and on a motor vehicle theft warrant from another county.
