Notre-Dame de la Route chapel burglarized; sound gear, chalice, and hosts stolen

Overnight August 23–24, intruders broke a protective pane and stained glass to enter Notre-Dame de la Route, forced a door, stole the sound system, a chalice, and hosts, and damaged the tabernacle. The Isigny-sur-Mer gendarmerie opened an investigation after parishioners filed a complaint. The adjacent former school was also vandalized.
