On August 27, 2026, at about 12:36 p.m., rocks were thrown through windows at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse at 7625 Shadow Lane in Sparks, Nevada. Police arrested Michael Szentimrey, 40, on a felony destruction-of-property charge. Damage was reported at more than $5,000, pending a final estimate.
