Members of one family linked to Jemaah Ansharut Daulah struck three churches on a Sunday morning with suicide bombs, including a car bomb and an attack involving children. About 15 people were killed at the church sites.
The Surabaya attacks were Indonesia’s worst bombing in a decade and led to a tightening of the country’s anti-terror law.
