Palm Sunday bombing in Tanta

A bomb exploded in the front pews during Palm Sunday liturgy in the Nile Delta city of Tanta. Twenty-nine worshippers were killed.

A second ISIS bombing struck St. Mark’s Cathedral in Alexandria hours later. President Sisi declared a three-month state of emergency.
