Stabbing at Christ the Good Shepherd

A 16-year-old attacked Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel with a knife during a livestreamed Monday service in western Sydney. The bishop and several congregants were wounded. A riot followed outside the church.

Australian authorities treated the stabbing as a terrorist incident. It is the most serious attack on a church congregation in modern Australian history.
