Easter bombing at Zion Church

A suicide bomber struck an evangelical Easter service on Sri Lanka’s east coast. Twenty-nine people were killed, many of them children attending Sunday school.

A church security volunteer stopped the attacker at the gate; the bomb still detonated among arriving families.
